RSP selected to design nation’s third children’s hospice home
Crescent Cove, a Minnesota-based non-profit that plans to build the first pediatric hospice and respite care home in the Midwest, selected RSP as architect-of-record.
“With guidance from Mortenson Construction, we selected RSP Architects based on their experiential approach to creating environments that connect organizations with the hearts and minds of those they serve,” said Bob Tift, president of Crescent Cove. “The design of our facility will be critical to our mission. Not only does it need to provide space for medical care and integrative therapies, it also must support the social, emotional and spiritual needs of children facing a shortened life expectancy and their families. We are challenging RSP to design a home-like environment that provides spaces for palliative care and is also warm and welcoming.”
