Creating connections
The overall design concept for this three-story, 48-unit 1+1E barracks is connection. Connecting the barrack’s architecture to the surrounding base while also relating to the historic wall just south of the site. A circulation axis visually and physically ties the new barracks with the wall. The design theme and materials align the residential building with the variety of other structures on base. We provided full design services and design project management on this design/build project for Mortenson Construction.
