With a strong attention to detail, Mark is a Project Manager on RSP’s Federal Government team. He has been involved with the management, design, construction administration and day-to-day team leadership on a variety of award winning projects and initiatives including:
- Concept Design – MN AIA Award for Visionary Drawing
- Building Design – American Schools and Universities Magazine Honor Award for Ivy Tech State College in South Bend IN, Kansas AIA Honor Award for Ft. Selling Army Reserve Center, USAF Honor Award for MNANG Composite Dining Hall/Medical Training Facility at MSP Airport
- Project Management -Design Project Manager for the Command and General Staff College at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas
- Community outreach and consensus building -Armed Forces Reserve Center at Middletown, CT
His projects for the Army Reserve have focused on exploring and helping define new approaches and solutions for energy efficiency and sustainability for future facilities including the development of the Army Reserve Energy Charrette process and fundamental design guidelines for site specific sustainable design. Mark has been acknowledged for his success in integrating a wide variety of concerns and issues into projects for both state and federal government. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the team and ensures the design process maintains the highest standards of quality.
When he has some free time, Mark can usually be found on a sofa watching old movies with a Gordon Setter on his lap or traveling to wild and beautiful places to pursue trout and salmon with bamboo fly rods.
