Mark Adolphsen

After more than 40 years of architectural leadership, Mark joined RSP in early 2023 as an expert in work for the public sector. Mark is based in Seattle and has experience in every aspect of the design and delivery process, from planning and design to construction and maintenance. His attention to detail informs his design approach, giving his clients comprehensive insight at every stage of a project. Mark is known across the industry for his work in the federal sector, executing projects for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, NOAA, and the GSA, just to name a few. He has decades of experience designing secure facilities (SCIFs and SCC) with a deep understanding of the unique levels of security, coordination and technical integrity that go along with these specialized assignments. Beyond the technical details, Mark prides himself on injecting sustainable and energy-efficient elements into his work, and he has earned awards and recognition from the U.S. Navy, Society of American Military Engineers, The American Planning Association, and the Master Builders Association.
