Renaissance Square Phoenix
A true renaissance
The term renaissance, by one of many definitions, means “a renewal of life, vigor, interest, etc.; rebirth; revival.” However, the towers of Renaissance Square located in the heart of Phoenix’s central business district were far from embodying their namesake’s meaning. The buildings donned a dated aesthetic: lobbies were covered in heavy maroon and emerald granite walls, brass fixtures offered meager rays of lighting and heavy concrete ceilings reflected the monotonous floors below.
A thoughtful renovation was needed to update the buildings with a more modern, urban feel. The key to the modernization: cost-effective finish changes with plenty of amenities for tenants.
The refreshed Renaissance One Tower is now a technology-driven environment. High-top community tables offer touchdown and plug-in opportunities, with sculptural light fixtures providing a human scale to the space. Renaissance Two Tower hosts visitors with a hospitable vibe, featuring wood panels with insets of moss and LED lights. Features that breathe life back into the space. Connecting the concepts of both lobbies at an ascending set of escalators: an eighteen-foot living wall with integrated technology, assisting patron wayfinding.
The high-rise towers of Renaissance Square can now proudly uphold their name, with renewed life, vigor and interest created in their revival.
