RSP Names New Principals, Announces Promotions Across the Practice
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – 29 May 2026 —RSP, the national architecture and design practice, has named five new Principals: Steve Bieringer AIA, LEED AP; Christina Villa AIA; Scott Klopfer AIA, NCARB; Aaron Napier PE; and Kyle Tornow AIA, NCARB. The move reflects the firm’s commitment to a new generation of leadership and continued growth.
“These promotions are not only a sign of where this practice is heading,” says Andrew W. Burnett AIA, LEED AP BD+C, RSP’s President and CEO. “They also reflect our confidence in the future, a confidence that comes from the incredible talent our people and the trust our clients invest in us.”
The firm also made a series of promotions nationally, covering all aspects of the organization and reflecting the growth and sustained success of the last year.
The new Principals are:
Steve Bieringer AIA, LEED AP re-joined RSP last year to head up our Corporate Studio. Based in Minneapolis, Steve has always excelled at the delicate balance of design, team management and project delivery. His leadership, business acumen, and mentoring skills have taken our corporate and workplace work to the next level.
Scott Klopfer AIA, NCARB has built a career on strong leadership, collaborative problem-solving, and a belief in the strength of teamwork. His background in architecture and real estate development has made him a well-rounded professional, an engaging mentor and a go-to resource.
Christina Villa AIA brings RSP’s Miami office a fluency in project planning and construction that has sparked internal growth, external recognition, and global expansion. Christina adeptly leads her teams in creating projects that have a positive impact on people, neighborhoods and communities.
Aaron Napier PE is a structural engineer who co-leads RSP’s industrial distribution center team, an increasingly important part of the company’s business. While Aaron has the quiet pragmatism of all great engineers, he understands the value of design and knows what it takes to deliver complex, multi-disciplined projects.
Kyle Tornow AIA, NCARB has played a pivotal role in leading RSP’s retail work, establishing himself as an expert in shaping design strategies that meet the demands of today’s sophisticated shoppers. He has helped some of the leading names in retail development navigate the complexities of climate adaptation, evolving consumer needs, and urban transformation.
