The complicated conversion of a former mill into affordable housing and the new St. Paul Saints ballpark are among the Top Projects of 2015 honorees announced Thursday by Finance & Commerce.
The A Mill Artist Lofts in Minneapolis and CHS Field in St. Paul are among 26 projects selected for the annual honors. To be eligible, the projects had to be completed by the end of 2015.
An independent panel of judges looked at degree of difficulty, creativity in design, innovative construction techniques, cooperation among contractors and management, and sustainability efforts.
The projects will be featured in a series of stories and photos in the Minneapolis-based Finance & Commerce daily newspaper and finance-commerce.com starting in July. The people and companies behind the projects also will be honored at an Oct. 19 event at the Minneapolis Event Center.
