As you might imagine, the Mayo Clinic Health System has exacting standards for its laboratories. And the Mayo Pathology Lab, located in Eau Claire, WI, is precisely designed for serious medical science (microbiology, cytology, histology, pathology, etc.). RSP designed the lab in a 17,000 square foot shell space within the main hospital. Beyond the painstaking accuracy and functional measures required in the renovation, the team made sure this lower level space provided a nice ambience for the medical staff by adding elements like large window wells to provide natural light in the office area.
