La Voya French Brasserie
Rustic yet refined dining experience.
Rife with French charm and a touch of local Minnesota flavor, La Voya French Brasserie exudes a refined yet rustic style. Located within the first ever hotel at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, InterContinental, La Voya’s bar and restaurant welcomes guests by way of the hotel lobby. With a full menu, the restaurant is open to hotel and non-hotel guests alike for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
RSP designed both the restaurant and the hotel that surrounds it. With a goal of ensuring La Voya retained its own identity as a standalone bar and dining experience, every detail was intentional. From the custom metal signage at the entry to the hexagonal patterned tiles that lead guests into a variety of seating options. Wine bottles fill the racks behind the curved bar top while French bistro bar chairs complete the look.
It’s easy to forget you are inside a hotel, let alone adjacent to an international airport. Guests are transported into a space that is light, bright and authentic. Pass the bar, and soft seating is a welcomed retreat for evening cocktails. Formal dining tables with plush blue chairs and oversized globe light fixtures above give the dining room a luxurious feel. Upon further glance, you’ll find banquette seating with plaid fabrics and forest animal wallcovering along with custom made art. La Voya is a one of a kind experience with a nod to the Minnesota Northwoods and a touch of French appeal.
La Voya was awarded the 2019 MSCA Interior Design: Full Service Restaurant Award (click to learn more).
