Connecting Communities with Transit-Oriented Development
Located in one of Miami’s most important transit corridors, Grove Central is a mixed-use development that connects communities while also providing inventive urban amenities. The project includes 170,000SF of retail, 402 housing units and 1300 parking stalls, all next to Miami’s Underline park. When complete in early 2023, Grove Central will be Miami’s premier transit-oriented development (TOD).
TODs are helping growing cities like Miami maintain sustainability, both in terms of urban growth and the environment. The Grove Central development provides walkable access to retail conveniences, Miami’s Metrorail, and a landscaped pedestrian pathway to Underline park, a 10-mile linear park and an urban trail located below the Metrorail. It’s a premiere example of a sustainable live/work/shop/play development.
RSP’s experts in multi-family residential, mixed-use development and retail finalized design development throughout the public/private development, including the housing units and retail storefronts. RSP has also been retained to complete designs for several tenants. Touzet Studio is the Design Architect and RSP is the Architect of Record for this project.
