Erin Yi leads RSP’s hospitality work, bringing an unmatched combination of expertise, passion, and multicultural insight to her projects. She blends creative problem-solving with a profound understanding of hotel operations, ensuring that every space she designs not only looks stunning but also functions flawlessly. With a keen eye for detail and an approach tailored to the strategic goals of each client, Erin has been instrumental in delivering standout projects like the Westin Tempe, the AC Hotel Phoenix Biltmore, and the renovation of the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown.
Erin’s natural design talent is only the beginning—her other strengths lie in building meaningful client and industry relationships. She thrives on understanding her clients’ unique perspectives, customizing her approach to meet their specific needs and ensuring every project is set up for success. Erin’s ability to communicate complex design concepts in a way that resonates with clients has turned many into long-term partners.
Born and raised in Korea until she was 12, Erin brings a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and a love of travel to her hospitality projects. She views her role as a designer as a way to curate experiences that allow people to explore new cultures, whether they’re traveling for business or leisure.
Erin is also dedicated to community and education, active in trade associations like NEWH and serving as a guest juror for interior design studios at Arizona State University. Her commitment to sharing knowledge and fostering the next generation of designers is also evident in her involvement as a mentor at RSP.
