Derek McCallum

Derek is a lifelong student of the design process. As a design principal, his appreciation for the arts extends beyond architecture to music, experience design, and creative problem solving. This translates into a diverse range of architecture and multi-media solutions that impart an appreciation of beauty to everyone who experiences his work. He continues to push visualization tools, embracing future technologies and mixed reality approaches, believing firmly in the research process in pursuit of unique solutions. Derek has played a pivotal role in numerous projects across various sectors, including corporate, commercial, and institutional.

Outside of his professional endeavors, he is an avid advocate for architectural education and mentorship. He is actively involved in initiatives aimed at nurturing the next generation of architects, sharing his knowledge and expertise to inspire others to pursue excellence in the field. Derek also serves on the Board of Directors for the Bakken Museum.
