Starting with its location, Yorkshire of Edina is living its mission to enrich the lives of those they serve. The new, four-story senior living community is near a vibrant shopping district and adds diversity to an already densely populated neighborhood. RSP and Trident Properties transformed a former parking lot on a small site into the 118,000 SF assisted living and memory care center.
With an urban-style exterior and interior full of amenities, Yorkshire was designed inside and out to appeal to today’s seniors. Contemporary yet comfortable spaces also support progressive care models. Common areas feature a bistro, chapel, pub, on-site salon and spa, fitness center and outdoor courtyard. Spacious living areas include high-end materials and private patios. Memory care units support the individual and family with private suites including kitchenettes and full bathrooms. A common creative space and enclosed courtyard encourage activity and connections to nature. Pathways connect the entire facility to the surrounding neighborhood, further encouraging community.
