Austin Energy, a publicly-owned utility providing electrical power to the City of Austin, Texas, wanted an actionable plan for 15 years into the future. So we completed a Facilities and Logistics Needs Assessment that encompassed 14 sites over more than 600,000 AusSF. Real estate. Workplace. Operations and maintenance. Logistics. All were analyzed to help our team determine which facilities needed what, and when. This thorough, long-range study — which we aligned with Austin Energy’s strategic business objectives — revealed opportunities to reduce over $40M in real estate and operating costs based on a 15-year cost of ownership.
