Nicolas Pinzon Joins RSP’s Growing Miami Office
Nicolas Pinzon Intl Assoc. AIA brings deep commercial design and leadership experience to the national architecture and design practice.
MIAMI, FL—31 October 2025—RSP, the national architecture and design practice, welcomes Nicolas Pinzon Int’l Assoc. AIA as an Associate Principal in the firm’s Miami office. Pinzon brings 25+ years of retail and mixed-use design expertise, strengthening RSP’s position in the South Florida and Latin America markets and adding proven leadership to the growing office.
“Nicolas brings us the ideal blend of design and management capabilities,” says RSP CEO Andrew Burnet AIA, LEED AP BD+C. “His personal portfolio is distinguished by high-impact projects throughout Latin America and Europe plus he has successfully opened and directed a number of architecture offices. That’s a hard-earned base of experience that doesn’t come around too often.”
Pinzon has worked throughout Europe, South and Central America and South Florida and is recognized expert in the design of retail-driven mixed-use projects as well as complex, large-scale developments. Most recently he established the Miami office of Barcelona-based L35 and has worked extensively in Spain, France, Mexico and Colombia. His work celebrates the community aspects of architecture, blending strong, contemporary design with a clear civic purpose.

Pinzon holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) and Master of Architecture (M. Arch) from the ETSAB – Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain, as well as a post-graduate degree in Photography from the Escuela Superior de Imagen y Diseño in Barcelona. He is active in the design and real estate community and is advisory member of the Harvard Business Review, the GRI Institute and the Cercle d’Economia de Barcelona. He, his wife and daughter live in Miami.

RSP has worked throughout Central and South America, the Caribbean and South Florida since the early 1990’s via the work of Larry Beame and the Beame Partnership, which joined RSP in 2019. These continue to be growth markets for the practice, and Pinzon will play a significant role in that growth. The office, which specializes in master planning and architecture, has added corporate interior design services as well as expertise in multi-family architecture.
In the last five years, RSP Miami has been instrumental in a series of high-profile, impactful projects throughout South Florida. This includes the award-winning renovation and repositioning of CocoWalk, the iconic retail development in Coconut Grove; Grove Central, the ground-breaking transit-oriented development (TOD); 14 Roc, a 32-story residential tower in Miami’s Signature District; and the global headquarters for the Miami Association of Realtors.
Other active projects include the Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRIC) transformation; a new residential community adjacent to the South Dade Government Center in Cutler Bay for the Terra Group; and Ovation, a mixed-use retail and entertainment district in Orlando.
