Revitalizing the Minneapolis Office Experience
RSP transformed LaSalle Plaza into a destination for a new era of work. Located in the heart of Minneapolis’ Central Business District, the 30-story tower invites people back with a work environment that feels active and inspiring.
Hempel’s $7 million repositioning aimed to counter post-pandemic office vacancy with a bold vision. RSP embraced that challenge with a hospitality-forward design strategy, layering rich jewel tones, tailored wood paneling, and brass accents into the building’s 1920s-inspired architecture. The new lobby, framed by enhanced lighting and signage, signals both sophistication and security from the street.
Upstairs, RSP reimagined the fourth floor as The LaSalle Club, a flexible, “third place” amenity hub designed for every mode of work and collaboration. The space features a 70-person training room, executive boardroom, fireplace lounge, and a variety of gathering spaces. Pickleball courts, Trackman golf simulators, and a rooftop patio round out the experience, creating a workplace that makes people want to return.
Now LEED Gold and Energy Star certified, LaSalle Plaza is helping reshape the identity of downtown Minneapolis, making it more vibrant, social, and future-focused.
