DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton at Doral is ideally located in immediate proximity to an international shopping destination and Miami International Airport. The contemporary streamline design captures the youthful energy of DoubleTree’s diverse audience of visitors. Providing a plethora of spaces to accommodate each visitor’s needs, the two-story glass lobby connects conference rooms, quiet corners, a restaurant, pool patio and gym. The bar is perched on the second level exterior terrace overlooking the pool. Connecting all these spaces to the lobby creates opportunity for spontaneous gatherings and a sense of energy.
The juxtaposition of solid versus void creates the illusion that the heavier massing of the guestrooms gently floats above the two-story glass lobby. The public spaces are located on the first two floors connecting with the exterior through the glass facade. The private spaces are located above, floating in the concrete façade. When the private and public spaces overlap it creates an energetic atmosphere.
