About the Authors
Andres Perez-Doval is an electrical designer at RSP Architects. He has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University. Andres has experience in the research and development of project Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) for government and commercial building Energy Audits. Andres is experienced in utilizing Helioscope and other renewable energy support software to model campus-wide solar system designs.
Chad Jones PE, CxA, LEED AP (BD+C) is an electrical engineer with more than ten years of experience in innovative design for mission critical projects. With a focus on power distribution systems for mission critical facilities, his expertise includes the design of switchgear, UPS, generator, and BESS applications. Chad has experience in the research and development of campus wide Energy Audits evaluating optimal campus wide solar and BESS sizing based upon utility billing and tariff rates.
