Two sites, one goal: enhancing the user experience.
With approximately 330 distribution facilities worldwide, Sysco is the largest global distributor of food and related products. The company serves more than 600,000 customer locations. Because of their far-reaching scope, a streamlined system design is imperative to keeping business functions efficient. At the time, Sysco had two sites running different FM:Interact systems with separate licenses and databases. This setup proved inefficient. There was minimal communication between the Corporate and Business Service offices which led to confusion over roles and workplace standards.
Led by our facility information management consultancy, RSP i_SPACE merged the two separate systems and enhanced the move management process, simultaneously improving the original FM:Interact system. The result? Sysco has freed time with improved automation to run repetitive tasks independently. With a new central system, they are able to depend upon the new, highly intuitive user experience and a reliable single source of information. And they can now effectively manage their space, occupancy and moves using the extensive capabilities available from FM:Interact Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS). From initial concepts, to testing, to solution deployment and application support, our team worked side-by-side every step of the way with Sysco to ensure success and the solution exceeding their expectations.
