Architect, Project Manager and Jazz Enthusiast.
Catherine’s first teacher in the architecture world was her father. An industrial designer and general contractor, he taught her how to find beauty in the built environment. Inspired, Catherine fell in love with design. Thirty years and many experiences later, she is now a project manager for RSP’s Miami office. She’s worked in multiple sectors, but has always been attracted to the retail side of architecture. Visual aspects like signage, colors and wayfinding connect people and work in harmony to tell a story. She has participated in some of the most vibrant retail and mixed-use developments in Florida like Grove Central, Pine City Center, Dolphin Mall and Town Center Boca Raton. She excels at expanding a client’s vision while keeping the project on track. One of her major strengths is maintaining honesty in the design. With a positive attitude and excellent organizational skills, she can easily manage both budgets and expectations. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing on the beach, gardening, and renovating her home. Catherine and her architect husband, Arturo, love to revisit New Orleans where they met in school. Her personal motto? Life is good. Embrace the challenges. Count the blessings.
